BODYCOTE CENTECH BECOMES EXOVA
Bodycote Exova, located in Toulouse area, has been officially renamed EXOVA, name which also applied to former Bodycote Testing Group following tis acquisition by CD&R.

NEW CEO APPOINTED AS CD&R FINALISES BODYCOTE TESTING PURCHASE
Clayton, Dubilier and Rice, (CD&R) a global private equity firm with a strategy of building and growing the businesses in which it invests, has today (17 October 2008) finalised the purchase of the Bodycote Testing Group from Bodycote plc, and appointed Grant Rumbles as Chief Executive Officer.
Grant Rumbles joins from international services company, Serco plc, where he was the Group Chief Operating Officer.
On his appointment, Grant commented:
”My aim will be to build on Bodycote Testing Group’s successful history to develop a respected, highly efficient organisation, which delivers outstanding customer care. This will allow the business to achieve exceptional growth, providing new opportunities for staff and better services for our customers as well as enhancing the communities in which we work and delivering excellent returns to our shareholders”.

Bodycote Acquires French Aerospace Testing Laboratory
Bodycote Materials Testing, part of the worldwide Bodycote Testing Group, has made its first venture into France with the acquisition of Exova, an independent materials testing laboratory based in Toulouse.
Exova is approved by major aerospace sector businesses such as SNECMA, Airbus France and GEAE and provides a wide range of services including mechanical testing (fatigue and fracture); machining and failure analysis of metallic and composite materials. Exova’s ‘Proficiency Testing Programme’ is approved by Airbus France, SNECMA and GEAE as part of its control over inter-laboratory testing and to ensure consistency of results.
