Which tests do I have to perform?
You have to
participate in all the tests you are accredited or looking for accreditation by
your sponsors.
There is no kit with the same material as we
use? What can we do and can we participate in the AGS PT? Based on
the material's properties and characteristics, check for the most suitable
alternative material (e.g. another type
of Aluminium or the same type of specimen geometry). Note that the intention of
the PTP is to validate the test method of both your equipment / operator and
not the material's performance itself.
I would like to participate in the PTP but
there are not any tests corresponding to my activity, how can I find out if I
could participate in the next program?

contact the sponsors and Exova to see what can be organised.
I registered but never received the kits.
Please
check in the program overview section that every step has been completed. Make sure
the payment has been done.
How to follow the shipment of the kits?
You can ask
for the tracking number of your package by email.
How to re-order kits?
You just
have to log in to your member area and to click on the "new order"
link.
I am not able to machine the specimens.
You can
subcontract the machining as you are used to doing.
I didn't perform the test in accordance with
the standard mentioned in the technical definition.
The aim of
PTP is to check the mastery of a test but not the knowledge of a standard.
I can't test the specimen geometry mentioned in
the technical definition.
The
geometry in the technical definition is advised but not mandatory.
My technical means do not allow me to provide
all the test characteristics required by the technical definition. (ex : For Tensile test I can't
measure 5D elongation)
All the
results are requested, nevertheless if you are not able and not used to
measuring a characteristic for your sponsors you do not need to provide it.
An incident happened during the test and my
specimens are unusable.
Please
inform your sponsors. With their agreement you may order a new kit.
The capacity of my frame does not allow me to
perform the test.
Please
inform the sponsors about this issue and contact us to see about the
possibility of an alternative solution. (i.e: use material from a previous
scheme).
I performed 5 tests but am only asked for 4
results.
You have to
select 4 among the 5 results.
I can no longer access with my user details to
enter the results.
The
reception deadline on the website has been closed. Please send your results via
e-mail.
I will not be able to enter my results before
the deadline.
Your
results will be compared to the statistical population. In any case you will
receive a comparison report totally validated and accepted by the sponsors.
